Make It Take It - Lucky Crafts - PAY WHAT YOU CAN
Dive into a world of creative surprises! Barry and Thane’s Table are hosting a unique crafting experience where you bring your own treasures and Barry will provide a few special items. The magic? It's all "pay what you can"! Let the luck of the draw guide your creations and your contribution. Whether you're feeling generous or just want to explore, come enjoy the joy of giving and receiving in this fun, unpredictable crafting session. You might just craft something amazing AND experience a little bit of serendipity!
Choose from one of these three crafts. Bring the requested items. Barry will bring a few pieces to enhance your magical making. In the end, if you’re feeling lucky, put a little gold into the pot to cover the costs.
Crafts:
1. Trap Craft
The Trap: A Symbol of Hope: Leprechaun traps, a fun craft project, really represent the desire to capture luck or fortune. It can be an act of hope and intention setting, thinking about what we wish for, and believing in the possibility. It's a tangible way to engage with the idea of luck and actively participate in creating a positive outcome.
YOU BRING:
funky, small boxes and other items to build your own trap, tools like scissors, tape, hot glue, markers, crayons, etc.
I BRING:
printed mini signs, bamboo sticks, cardboard for bases
2. Lucky Charms Craft
Lucky Charms: The Power of Belief: Lucky pennies, four-leaf clovers, and other charms are often seen as conduits of good fortune. The belief in their luck can have a real impact. This is a great example of the placebo effect. If we believe a lucky penny will bring us good fortune, we may be more likely to notice positive things happening, reinforcing our belief and potentially boosting our confidence and optimism.
YOU BRING:
scissors, glue
I BRING:
printed charms, safety pins
3. Leprechauns and Fairies Craft
The Lore of the Leprechaun: Leprechauns are mischievous, solitary creatures in Irish folklore, known for their hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. They are skilled shoemakers and are said to be quite clever, cunning, and magical, capturing the imagination and sparking a sense of wonder.
YOU BRING:
scissors, glue
I BRING:
printed Leprechaun and Fairies, bamboo sticks, cardboard for bases
